Police Speed Checks

At 11:30am on Wednesday, 3rd August 2005 a
device was installed across the road below
St. Mary's Church in West Dean that will record the
speed and types of vehicle travelling down Rectory Hill.
The device will be in place for one week. If it is
found that there is a significant speeding problem,
a camera vehicle will be brought to the village in
an attempt to persuade motorists to reduce their speed.

There is no requirement for the police to advertise the
location of speed check vehicles on their Website at
SafetyCameras-Wiltshire-Swindon.co.uk - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
